New UK national sales manager for enclosure firm

Sarel has announced that Richard Beighton has been appointed as the organisation's new UK national sales manager, with full responsibility for managing Sarel's eight-strong UK sales force

Sarel has announced that Richard Beighton has been appointed as the organisation's new UK national sales manager.

In his new position, Beighton has full responsibility for managing Sarel's eight-strong UK sales force, as well as for formulating and implementing Sarel's sales strategy for the UK market.

Beighton's move to Sarel follows two years of working within the Schneider Electric group, where his previous roles included business development specialist with the organisation's forward-looking electronics team, and managing the Schneider Electric advanced technology distributor network.

Prior to joining Schneider Electric, Beighton's experience includes working in panel building and distribution.

"I'm very excited about my new position," said Beighton.

"Sarel has a strong customer base in the industrial sector, and we have the right products - and the right distributor network - not just to maintain this, but also to achieve significant expansion.

In fact, the latest sales figures, which are well ahead of target, show clearly that we're getting things right." "Perhaps the most exciting and challenging aspect of the job, however, is the development of new markets," Beighton continued.

"Sarel has identified several new market sectors where there is enormous potential for growth, and I'll be devoting considerable effort to making sure that we take full advantage of this potential." Beighton sees the keys to future success as Sarel's strong product line, which offers Europe's largest range of enclosures in steel, stainless-steel, GRP and plastic; and the organisation's countrywide network of specialist distributors, with whom he is working closely to achieve mutually beneficial growth in sales and profits.
