Massive range of industrial desks and accessories
With no fewer than 16 standard models, the latest range of sheet-steel desks from Sarel, a brand of Schneider Electric, makes it easy to find exactly the right desk for virtually any application.
Constructed around Sarel's robust floor-standing sheet-steel cabinets, the data centre power distribution boards incorporate a standard 19" racking system with a modular mounting height of 47U.
The boards are supplied fully equipped with Merlin Gerin distribution equipment, which offers a safe, simple and effective method of providing up to 110 data centre supplies from a single location.
Outgoing circuits are protected by miniature circuit breakers, which are offered in two- and four-pole versions with ratings of 16A, 20A and 32A.
For maximum versatility, the two-pole 16A and 20A breakers are optionally available with socket outlets - the load circuits simply plug in, without the need to power down, and further circuits can be added or reconfigured in seconds.
The incoming sections of the boards are equipped with moulded-case circuit breakers, with ratings up to 400A.
Monitoring contacts, which show whether the incomer is open, closed or tripped, are fitted as standard, as is a shunt-trip release which allows the instant disconnection of supplies in an emergency.
Sarel CaSys enclosures, which complement the new data centre distribution boards, are purpose-designed to provide versatile and economical accommodation for network cabling, server hardware and uninterruptible power supplies.
They are available in 600mm and 800mm wide versions, with heights from 24U to 27U, and a choice of either 600mm or 800mm depth is offered for all models.
