The new CaSys range of modular racks and enclosures from Sarel is an ideal choice for use in Internet data centres and other demanding computer-related applications.

Specifically designed to provide versatile and economical accommodation for network cabling, server hardware and uninterruptible power supplies, the new CaSys range of modular racks and enclosures from Sarel is an ideal choice for use in Internet data centres and other demanding computer-related applications.

Sarel's CaSys modular network racks are manufactured from robust folded, welded sheet-steel with a durable and attractive textured epoxy finish.

They are offered in 600 and 800mm-wide versions with heights from 24 to 47U.

All models can be supplied in 600 or 800mm-deep versions, and extension racks can be added at either side of the basic unit to produce enclosure suites with any desired number of bays.

As standard, CaSys racks are fitted with glazed 180-degree opening front doors, which can be arranged to hinge on the left or the right, cut-out roofs with a plain or brush seal removable gland plate, and open plinths which provide unimpeded access for cables.

An extensive range of accessories is designed to speed equipment mounting and to simplify wiring.

To facilitate the ordering of fully assembled CaSys racks which are customised to meet specific application requirements, Sarel offers the CaSys Configurator.

This easily photocopied single-page document displays all key options, including thermal management products, in tabular format, allowing users simply to mark those which they require.

The Configurator, which covers thousands of possible rack configurations, can also be used to request quotations.

To complement its CaSys racks, Sarel offers CaSys one- and two-body 600mm-wide network enclosures in sizes from 6 to 18U.

Available with depths from 120 to 520mm, these units match CaSys racks in appearance, and can be supplied with either fixed or removable rear panels.

All types include a glazed and hinged front door with a secure key-operated locking mechanism.
