With the new Spacial 3D range of control arm products from Sarel, operator control stations can be readily suspended above the equipment with which they are associated.

With the new Spacial 3D range of control arm products from Sarel, operator control stations - and even complete control systems - can be readily suspended above the equipment with which they are associated Benefits compared with conventional mounting methods include valuable space savings, and easy access to the control station from multiple locations

Designed specifically for use with Spacial 3D man-machine dialogue enclosures, the Spacial 3D control arm range offers a choice of fixed and rotating joints, complemented by ready-to-use steel tube sections in lengths from 0.5 to 2m, with 50 and 80mm square cross-sections.

Used in conjunction with other products from the range, which include mounting bases and bellows joints, these components allow suspension arms to be assembled quickly and easily to suit virtually any application.

The maximum permissible load for the assembly depends upon the arrangement adopted, but is typically up to 100kg for systems constructed from 50mm tube, and up to 150kg where 80mm tube is used.

Spacial 3D man-machine dialogue enclosures for use with the control arms are part of Sarel's innovative Spacial 3D range which is manufactured in a brand new GBP 10 million fabrication plant.

The enclosures are available in seven sizes, ranging from 300 x 300 x 200m to 800 x 600 x 300mm and, as standard, feature an aluminium fascia plate designed to allow easy mounting of pushbuttons and other dialogue components, surrounded by an extruded aluminium trim frame.

Among the accessories which Sarel offers for use with the enclosures and control arms are signalling beacon adaptors, lighting units to illuminate the fascia, document supports, shelf units and keyboard enclosures.
