service

The latest addition to the Seaward range of electrical in-service safety testers is the new BenchPAT.

The latest addition to the Seaward range of electrical in-service safety testers is the new BenchPAT The advanced dual voltage portable appliance tester has been specifically designed for electrical technicians, plant or maintenance engineers carrying out safety testing routines at a fixed location including factory workshops, hire outlets, repair shops and similar designated test areas

Easy to operate in manual or automatic modes, the high performance BenchPAT incorporates all conventional electrical safety testing functions and also includes a flash test capability.

As a result, it can test any electrical appliance, including IT equipment, from any power source bringing total versatility to test procedures.

Among the new unit's many special features is specialist software allowing the comparison of successive test results to identify progressive deterioration in equipment and bar code scanning to reduce test times.

In addition, the tester has a large capacity internal memory for the full recording of all test data ensuring proper traceability of test information and results.

For complete test systems, the BenchPAT can also be linked to a new desk printer for the automatic and immediate production of cable wraps and test labels direct from the tester.

The new Desk Test 'n' Tag safety labelling system eliminates any reliance on manual labelling and enables all important test data to remain with the appliance - including equipment specific bar codes for product ID and future retest purposes.

The new BenchPAT forms part of a comprehensive range of electrical safety testers available from Seaward to help companies and organisations meet statutory health and safety responsibilities. Request a free brochure from Seaward Electronic ...
