Appliance tester is faster and easier to use
Seaward's new PrimeTest 300 portable appliance tester is claimed to be the most innovative of its type and has been specifically designed to meet workplace demands for faster, easier testing.
Seaward's new portable appliance tester, the PrimeTest 300, is claimed to be the most innovative of its type and has been specifically designed to meet workplace demands for faster and easier electrical safety testing.
The handheld PrimeTest 300 is a comprehensive test instrument for the fast and effective safety testing of Class I and Class II electrical equipment used in the workplace.
The comprehensive tester performs all tests needed for compliance with the Electricity at Work Regulations.
The instrument can also record electrical test results and equipment safety details as part of safety audits and traceable record keeping systems.
The combination of long-life battery power and a lightweight design make the PrimeTest 300 totally portable by eliminating the need for mains electricity to undertake testing.
Wireless connection with Bluetooth technology also allows test accessories such barcode scanners and safety-labelling printers to be linked directly to the instrument without the need for continuous plugging and unplugging of cables.
The PrimeTest 300's intuitive and easy-to-follow user interface supports straightforward operation and test control in either manual or automatic test modes.
Operating features include fast start-up, a large white backlit graphics display and full alphanumeric keypad, including programmable soft keys for customised test routines.
The unit's large internal memory facilitates the storage of test results for safety audits and traceability purposes.
Wireless connection enables all information stored in the tester's internal memory to be downloaded directly to a PC or PDA immediately and without physical connection.
The PrimeTest 300 can also be used with a special Test-n-Tag system for the fast and automatic printing of appliance test labels direct from the test instrument.
Application of the labels to equipment at the time of test provides an immediate indication that appliances are safe to use in the work environment.
The new PrimeTest 300 is the latest and most innovative addition to the Seaward range of portable appliance test equipment, comprising test instruments, PATGuard record keeping software and other safety testing accessories.
