The new Europa PAC Plus from Seaward Electronic is one of the company's latest generation of portable appliance testers, incorporating a range of innovative features to make electrical safety testing in the workplace fast and simple.

The Europa PAC Plus is a manual portable appliance checker with an internal memory for the storage of test results and subsequent print out or downloading of data.

Capable of testing Class I and Class II electrical appliances, including information technology equipment, the advanced instrument is particularly suitable for those wishing to conduct simplified testing programmes with unambiguous pass or fail indications.

Tests include earth bond, earth continuity, insulation, touch leakage, differential leakage and external leakage, as well as a lead test facility.

An easy-to-use rotary switch provides fast and convenient test selection and large clear display gives digital readings of test values, enabling informed decisions to be taken on the safety of the appliance under test.

A special feature of the Europa PAC Plus is the ability to perform true earth bond and leakage measurements, even when multiple earth paths exist.

The new instrument, together with the PAC500 Plus, Europa Plus and Supernova Plus, forms a new upgraded series of portable appliance testers available from Seaward.

All instruments in the new Plus range are also supplied with a free copy of the PATSLite downloader program for the creation of a test results database and automatic results recording system.
