The ERT1557 uses a current clamp test method to provide accurate earth electrode resistance measurement without disconnecting the electrode.
These include the ability to perform in-line testing for earth bond and touch leakage while the equipment remains powered up - thereby greatly reducing test times.
To enable test operators to determine progressive deterioration or potential faults in the equipment under test, the Supernova Plus incorporates specially developed software that compares successive test results taken on the same item of electrical equipment.
Another improvement is the inclusion of two serial ports for the concurrent use of a bar code scanner and a printer.
This facility also enables the automatic print out of results immediately after a test has been completed.
Other special features include an earth cable length calculator to set earth bond limits, and the automatic increment of appliance IDs, to further speed up the test process.
The Supernova Plus retains the ergonomic design, integral QWERTY keyboard and main test features of the original instrument.
These include a flash test capability, accurate earth bond and leakage measurements when multiple earth paths exist, multiple 250V/500V insulation testing and an internal storage capacity of up to 5000 memory locations.
The new Supernova test unit comes with free downloader software in order to ensure the testing and information gathering process is as convenient as possible. Request a free brochure from Seaward Electronic ...
