Seaward Electronic, a market leader in electrical safety testing, is introducing a new concept aimed at helping contractors involved in portable appliance testing (PAT) to improve their productivity and profitability, while reducing costs at the same time.
The new Seaward PATSolutions approach seeks to streamline the selection of integrated PAT testing systems by bringing different test elements into distinct product packages.
The concept includes everything required to make PAT testing easy and effective - from the choice of PAT tester to aftersales care and everything in between.
At the top of the range is the Advanced PATSolutions package that is intended for those involved in comprehensive safety testing with computer-based records and automatic tagging of appliances tested.
The intermediate level Professional PATSolutions package is designed for those requiring quantitative data from tests, but who operate manual testing and tagging systems.
Completing the new range is the entry-level Basic PATSolutions for organisations that need to ensure electrical appliances are safe using test protocols based on minimum operator experience and basic training.
At each PATSolutions level a choice of test instruments is provided, alongside various accessory and software options, service and calibration support, in keeping with the sort of portable appliance testing being undertaken.
The PATSolutions range is designed to ensure that PAT testing of all electrical items can be undertaken as cost-effectively as possible as part of a fast and effective test service that enhances value-for-money considerations.
