The Seaward Group, the world-leading supplier of safety test instruments, introduces the SEN 60204 electrical safety checker from its Seaward Electronic, .
division.
Designed to test in accordance with EN60204.1 and EN60439.1 requirements, the SEN 60204 tester provides solutions for the European Machinery Directive and the Provision of Work Equipment Regulations.
This microprocessor-controlled unit conveniently allows test data to be stored in the tester's memory, enabling results to be downloaded either to a printer or to Seaward's results recording software, which ensures that hard-copy certificates of the results are attainable.
The SEN 60204 complies with the testing of machines to all EN60204.1 electrical assessments, which standardize regulations pertaining to electrical equipment of machines.
Additionally, the SEN 60204 unit boasts a 2.5kV flash test, enabling compliance with the EN60439.1 for low voltage switchgear and control assemblies requirements.
Supplementary auxiliary earth bond lead connections facilitate point-to-point measurement and provide the instrument versatility over its peers.
Additionally, this user-friendly unit boasts the residual voltage test via probe, providing efficient measurement for single and three-phase machines.
The SEN 60204's unique ability to execute differential earth leakage measurements resolves multiple earths to machine under test.
