Electrical tester records data for other equipment
A new handheld instrument not only tests the safety of workplace electrical equipment appliances but also enables the condition of other safety equipment to be recorded quickly and easily.
The PT300 can record information in keeping with the requirements of a wide range of safety legislation including BS5266 Emergency Lighting, BS5839 concerning Fire Detection and Alarm Systems for Buildings and the BS5306 code of practice for the Maintenance of Portable Fire Extinguishers.
Comprehensive equipment details can be recorded including notes on physical condition and the results of functional or operational tests, as well as date, location and identity of the person carrying out the inspection.
A fast, secure and intuitive data capture system means that the results of testing and inspection plus any accompanying notes can be compiled quickly and recorded securely.
When combined with PC record keeping programs and/or PDA software, complete safety asset inspection, test and tracking system can be maintained to demonstrate legislative compliance.
To support these functions, the PrimeTest 300 has a large internal memory enabling comprehensive safety audits to be undertaken with complete and traceable equipment records.
Important safety labels and pass/fail tags can also be produced immediately as soon as tests and inspections are undertaken on site.
Contractors' own logos can be included on the labels for maximum impact and customer visibility.
The PrimeTest 300 is also designed to carry out essential safety testing of all Class I and Class II electrical appliances.
The lightweight instrument has been designed for maximum versatility.
Long life battery power reduces downtime between tests and Bluetooth wireless technology means that stored notes, information and data can be transferred immediately and directly from the tester to PC-based records.
The PrimeTest 300 is the latest and most innovative addition to Seaward's comprehensive range of test equipment that also includes various test instruments, PATGuard record keeping software and test accessories. Request a free brochure from Seaward Electronic ...
