Seaward has introduced the Jumpstart PAT guidance service to help those testing portable appliances get the most out of available instrumentation, test software and accessories.
Seaward will provide an experienced PAT test professional to visit companies and discuss specific safety testing needs and provide advice to enable contractors, electricians and test engineers to deliver a professional PAT service.
The engineer will set up and configure test instruments and test-results-recording software systems and establish any further necessary training.
The engineer will provide information on the range of Seaward Primetest, Supernova and Europa portable appliance testers to ensure the correct test equipment is used for the correct applications and environments.
The service is suitable for those offering sub-contract PAT testing as well as service engineers and facilities managers responsible for in-house electrical safety testing.
The Jumpstart service streamlines the selection of integrated portable appliance testing systems by linking hand held test instrumentation with new software technology, test accessories and service support to make the process of safety testing easier and more effective.
