Seaward Electronic has developed integrated test packages to ensure the safe condition of workplace electrical equipment and portable appliances.
The Advanced Patsolutions package enables electrical contractors, maintenance engineers, portable appliance test (PAT) companies and service teams to work smarter, improving productivity and effectiveness.
Seaward Electronic has developed integrated test packages to ensure the safe condition of all types of workplace electrical equipment and portable appliances.
The special kit is intended for those that have an electrical safety testing responsibility in larger workplaces where a computer-based records system is required, alongside the automatic tagging and labelling of appliances after testing.
The concept offers a choice of test instruments, together with various accessory and software options as well as training, service and calibration support.
Test-instrument options available in the Advanced Patsolutions package comprise the multi-function and Supernova Plus and Europa Plus testers, as well as the Prime Test 300 and 350 models.
These testers combine user-friendly operation with the internal storage of test results for comprehensive safety testing applications.
The Supernova Plus has a dual-voltage test capability and is also equipped for flash testing.
The Europa Plus also permits dual-voltage testing and is designed for more portable PAT applications.
Both testers can carry out the full suite of electrical safety tests and can perform in-line testing for earth bond and touch leakage for equipment that can't be powered down - such as PC servers.
A range of test and data management software options from the Seaward Patguard range is supporting the testers.
These powerful programs facilitate the fast and easy transfer of test results from the instrument into database record-keeping systems.
These systems can provide a range of reporting, test scheduling, asset tracking and other analysis formats, depending on the extent of the PAT service being provided.
The tester and data management software is accompanied by full training, service and calibration services as part of the integrated Patsolutions package.
