Temperature logger on the button
Miniature temperature logger the size of a button weighs 4g and is a steel-cased unit 17mm in diameter by 6mm thick, powered by an internal 3V lithium battery.
Smartbutton is a miniature temperature logger that is easy to use, and is similar in size to a button Because of the small size and low-cost, they can be purchased in bulk for multiple-site temperature monitoring

Designed for measuring temperatures during transit, the 4g steel-cased unit is 17mm in diameter by 6mm thick.
Powered by an internal 3V lithium battery with a typical life of 10 years, Smartbutton has a resolution of 8bit and an accuracy of +/-1C over most of its range.
With a clock accuracy of +/-2min per month from 0 to 45C, measurements can stop when full or recirculate.
A PC with at least one free serial port is fine for Smartbutton set-up, reading and display software (provided free).
A USB port can be used with an optional adapter.
It has a memory of 2048 readings, and an operating range of -40 to +85C.
Applications include food manufacturing, pharmaceutical and product storage, transportation of temperature-sensitive goods, laboratory experiments, HVac and industrial equipment logging.
A starter pack is available that includes one Smartbutton, an interface cable, software and a manual, from US distributor Saelig.
