Miniature dataloggers handle several
parameters
Housed in a transparent polycarbonate shell, the MSR145S is one of the smallest, lightest data loggers available, at 52 x 20 x 16mm and 16g.
Saelig's MSR145S is a series of miniaturised universal dataloggers for measuring and recording several different physical parameters simultaneously The MSR145S- B51111 contains a built-in temperature sensor, a humidity sensor, a pressure sensor and a three-axis accelerometer

MSR Software enables users to customise measurement and recording requirements, with resultant data transferred to a PC after data logging is completed or even during the data logging process.

As many units as needed can be deployed, with the resulting data synchronised and merged into a single data record.
Parameters that can be measured with the MSR145S series include: temperature, relative humidity, pressure and three-axis acceleration.
An external trigger input allows an external contact closure start, but logging can also be by exception on a per channel basis or at a specific time.
With a working range of -10C to +65 C with the internal sensors and -55 C to +125C with an optional external sensor, MSR145S loggers have an accuracy of +/-0.1 C (5C to 45C) +/-0.2C (-10C to +65C).
The humidity sensing range is 0-100% relative humidity, with an accuracy of +/-2% (10 -90%RH), while the internal pressure sensor can log 0-2500mbar absolute (optionally 0-14,000mbar) with an accuracy of +/-2.5mbar.
MSR Software allows a selectable storage rate for temperature, humidity and pressure from once per second to once every 12 hours, while acceleration and analogue inputs can be measured from 50 times a second to once every 12 hours.
MSR145S' internal memory stores over 2,000,000 measurements.
Powered by a rechargeable 170 mAh lithium polymer battery, one battery charge is sufficient for several months' logging at one sample per minute.
Status LEDs indicate record/alarm/battery conditions.
MSR145S loggers also feature an alarm output.
Applications include, transport, research and development, professional sports, machine engineering, chemical, pharmaceutical and environmental technology.
MSR145S loggers were recently used to monitor pilots during the development of a special flight suit for the Eurofighter jet.
An alternative silicon- housed waterproof series MSR145W is also available for liquid-based applications such as in medical and food technology.
MSR145S and MSR145W series are available from Saelig.
