Scientific Technologies, (STI), introduces the new T4011 Heavy-Duty Safety Interlock Switch.

Scientific Technologies, (STI), introduces the new T4011 Heavy-Duty Safety Interlock Switch.

The T4011 features an all-metal NEMA 6 enclosure with a variety of stainless steel actuators, which enables the switch to withstand harsh environments while performing a minimum of one million actuations.

The T4011 is easily adaptable to a variety of mounting situations, as the rotatable head provides 8 possible actuator entry positions and the mounting pattern conforms to the globally recognized DIN standard.

Remote status indication is easy to implement with the T4011, as it is equipped with 4 sets of contacts.

Two sets of contacts allow dual channel safety monitoring, a 3rd set of contacts provides for visual status with a light, and a fourth set of contacts may be monitored with a programmable logic controller (PLC).

With headquarters in the heart of Silicon Valley, STI was founded nearly 30 years ago and employs more than 350 people.

STI has been selected twice by Forbes and three times by Business Week as one of the "world's best small companies." STI's safety products are used to protect workers around machinery, automated equipment and industrial robots.

Their products serve a wide variety of applications and markets, including semiconductor, automotive, electronics manufacturing, packaging and consumer markets.
