Custom design for level measurement sensors

An Automation Products Group product story

Rated for use in all hazardous locations, RPM resistive chain level measurement sensors are custom manufactured to user specifications.

Rated for use in all hazardous locations, RPM resistive chain level measurement sensors are custom manufactured to user specifications.

As a result, the RPM series precisely satisfies application requirements for reliable operation in the chemical, oil, food processing, and waste treatment industries, among others.

RPM series sensors come in lengths up to 6m with a variety of available mounting configurations.

Output options include resistive chain or loop powered 4-20mA.

The sensors have only one moving part, a nonstick float that moves up and down a vertical stem.

A permanent magnet inside the float acts on a series of closely spaced reed switches and resistors inside the stem.

The sensor converts the total resistance value into a voltage or current signal that is proportional to the level of the liquid.
