The Hammer Union pressure transmitter is designed to provide long life in harsh oil patch environments in applications such as mud logging, cementing, fracturing and acidising.

Automation Products Group has released the Hammer Union pressure transmitter.

The Hammer Union pressure transmitter is engineered for use with highly abrasive and corrosive media, and is specifically designed to provide long life in harsh oil patch environments in applications such as mud logging, cementing, fracturing and acidising.

With CSA certification for in intrinsically safe operation in hazardous locations, the NEMA 4X/IP44 Hammer Union also complies with new NACE MR01-75 standards for sour gas pressure applications.

This extremely rugged pressure transmitter features exceptional shock and vibration resistance, while providing better than +/-0.35% combined linearity, hysteresis and repeatability (BFSL) on pressure ranges up to 1034bar.

The Hammer Union is available with either 0 to 5 VDC or 4-20mA output, and features industry standard electrical connectors for simplified installation.

A true 20mA calibration shunt is also standard on specific models.
