Pressure transducers handle oil drilling demands
Even with the rugged stainless steel housing, PT-400 users still have access to zero and span adjustments for calibration to specific application requirements.
Automation Products Group (APG) has released PT-400 amplified output pressure transducers.
PT-400 pressure transmitters provide a minimum of 10 million operating cycles with accuracy of +/-0.25% FS (BFSL), in operating temperatures from -40 to 82C.
These sensors cover pressures ranging from 0 up to 1379bar, along with high burst pressure to 3x full-scale (limited by the process connection) and overpressure to 2x full-scale for in-process reliability.
The PT-400 is designed for demanding applications in oil drilling, water and wastewater industries, as well as for general use in other industries.
PT-400 pressure transducers weigh 283g and offer standard 4-20mA, 0-5V DC and 0-10V DC outputs.
Their integrated electronics are fully enclosed inside an all-welded stainless steel housing with a 1/4-18 NPTM fitting as standard.
Even with the rugged stainless steel housing, users still have access to zero and span adjustments for calibration to specific application requirements.
The rugged construction make the devices well suited for static and dynamic pressure measurement where an amplified output signal is desired.
A number of options are available, including extended temperature compensation, higher accuracy ratings and alternate process fittings.
