SMAC Europe has released an updated catalogue containing details of the latest products in its expanding range of moving coil actuators.
SMAC Europe has released an updated catalogue containing details of the latest products in its expanding range of moving coil actuators.
The continuing trend towards implementing precision motors has seen continuing growth for SMAC.
In particular the high-resolution, high-speed, zero-backlash nature of the voice coil actuator has significant benefits in manufacturing and QA environments where the high speed repeatability of results must be guaranteed.
In addition to the traditional semiconductor pick and place market, a significant number of SMAC applications are now found in the automotive, biomedical and pharmaceutical sectors particularly for gauging, testing and QA environments where the necessity of 100% inspection and traceability is required.
This is reflected in the number of new products released in the last 12 months.
