Sagentia has announced the appointment of Daniel Flicos as Managing Director to succeed Simon Davey, who is stepping down as CEO.

Sagentia has announced the appointment of Daniel Flicos as Managing Director to succeed Simon Davey, who is stepping down as CEO of Sagentia, having successfully overseen the rebranding of the company.

Daniel Flicos joined Sagentia, formerly known as Scientific Generics, in 1993.

He spent three years in the USA and during this period was responsible for Sagentia's US operations and the successful growth of this business, including the integration of a strategically important acquisition, Genesis Medical in 1993.

Flicos returned to the UK in 2005 as Group Commercial Director.

He has a masters degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Bath University.

Flicos says: "I am passionate about the work that we do at Sagentia and I am looking forward to the new role".

"As a company, we are committed to continued growth and making Sagentia the company of choice for clients, partners, employees and shareholders alike who are seeking to create value from technology".

Following his resignation from the Board of Directors, Simon Davey will continue to work with colleagues to complete the hand over to Daniel Flicos, who will become Managing Director of Sagentia with immediate effect.

Daniel Flicos will report to Martin Frost, Group Chief Executive Officer.

Frost comments: "I congratulate Dan and am looking forward to working with him and his Executive team to continue to grow the business further".

"The Board would like to express its gratitude to Simon who has, since his appointment, grown the technology consultancy on an international basis and moved Sagentia into profitability".
