Schroff's HLS (High Leverage Self-locking) handle fully complies with the IEEE 1101.10 standard and is suitable for the insertion and extraction of all 19" plug-in units.
To help users find their way around the huge variety of products on offer, Schroff has produced a new catalogue series that provides clear and full documentation for all of these items.
Customers can choose between printed or electronic versions.
Previously there was one large catalogue for electronic enclosures.
This has been replaced by three smaller volumes.
These incorporate graphically designed summary pages for each chapter, plus navigation bars and colour coding to help guide the user quickly to the technical data required.
Volume One covers 19" enclosures and climate control technology.
It contains the full spectrum of cabinets, 19" wall-mounted and tabletop enclosures plus a comprehensive range of accessories.
Volume Two incorporates sub-racks, cases and plug-in technology.
Users will find everything they need to build a mechanical system for their application.
Volume Three's products comprise power supplies, backplanes / test adapters and microcomputer rack systems based on the VME, CompactPCI or Industrial PC architecture.
All the components for a complete microcomputer rack system are also covered, including climate control, HF screening, power supply plus cabling and testing.
A special networking technology catalogue will appear in spring 2001 as volume 4 of the series.
