Schroff now offers an economic networking cabinet for applications that involve the installation of large quantities of cables.

The 19-inch floor standing enclosure can be used as a network centre for cabling, or as an active cabinet housing routers and switches as well as cabling.

The Epnet cabinet is designed to be both functional and attractive.

Cable installation is made quick and easy thanks to universal access to the inner area of the enclosure, whilst careful design ensures that Epnet does not look out of place in a modern office environment.

Even weight distribution of the cabinet and its maximum 300kg load is achieved through feet that can be adjusted easily from inside the cabinet to compensate for uneven floors.

With a steel plate chassis and powder coated steel plate panels the enclosure is tough and durable.

A locking front door with choice of cylinders also makes the unit very secure.

Numerous optional extras enable users to customise Epnet to exactly meet the specific requirements of their application.

These options include components such as slide rails, shelves, cable supports and fan trays.

Epnet cabinets are delivered to the customer fully assembled.

If required they can be supplied without side panels, this then enables several units to be mounted side-by-side using the special mounting kit supplied.

Schroff can also satisfy customer requirements with regard to special cut outs and painting.

The Epnet range is rated to IP20 and conforms to EN60297-2.

Earthing is to IEC0100 and cabling technology to IEC50173.
