Schroff is broadening its line of AdvancedTCA products with a newly expanded offering of five-slot integrated systems for deployment or development applications.

The new systems features a five-slot full mesh backplane with two hub slots, a powerful cooling scheme with a fan controller to support up to 200W per slot, and optional dual redundant hot swap shelf managers.

It is ideal for deployment in NEBS applications such as DSLAMs or other switching applications.

The full range of AdvancedTCA capabilities also makes the new chassis ideal for system integrators as well as board and software developers.

One configuration available supports dual 4U-high Schroff shelf managers, which are hot swappable and provide a bussed IPMB interface.

Based on the Pigeon Point Shelf Manager Mezzanine Module (Shmm), the shelf managers are especially useful for configurations without on-board shelf management.

Also available upon request is a configuration that provides the interface for the Intel Colorado Springs shelf manager.

An independent fan controller interfaces to a temperature sensor on the air exhaust.

Additional features of the new system include dual 48V inputs on the rear, easy access to the top board for debug, shielding, and 19inch rack mount capability - all in a compact 5U chassis.

AC versions of the chassis are available with a variety of power options up to 750W standard.

Starting at less than USA$2,500, the chassis has all the features necessary to fully develop and test AdvancedTCA boards and software.

The standard five-slot system (SYS000766) and associated shelf manager (BPL000763) are available from stock.
