The CE certified MC6 Safety Mat Controller has six individual mat zone LED indicators and a two-digit numeric display to provide superior fault diagnostics

Scientific Technologies, (STI), introduces the CE certified MC6 Safety Mat Controller This controller features the latest technology, with dual microprocessors for control reliability and state of the art diagnostics

Six individual mat zone LED indicators and a two-digit numeric display provide superior fault diagnostics, and allow for quick and easy troubleshooting.

The safety output functions are provide by selecting either a field replaceable safety relay output module or solid-state safety output module.

The selectable functions of the MC6 are set using dual dip switches.

Selectable features include: Mode Selections, Automatic Start, Start/Restart Interlock, Start Interlock, MPCE, Auxiliary Output mode, follow Safety Outputs or Fault Indication, and the number of mat input zones connected, (up to six).

Other features of the MC6 include an IP65 rated, lockable metal enclosure.

Available voltages include 24 VDC or 100-240 VAC provided by an auto selecting power supply (no jumpers or switches to set).

Options include factory installed Key Reset Switch, Mat Input connectors, and Power and Safety Output connector.

When used in conjunction with the pressure sensitive STI UM Series safety mats for perimeter guarding applications, these control reliable controllers send a stop signal to guarded machine.

Applications include robot welding stations, assembly machines, material handling, packaging machinery, presses and punches.
