New from Scientific Technologies, the LCM-3 safety light curtain controller features a multiprogrammable channel select function.
New from Scientific Technologies, the LCM-3 safety light curtain controller features a multiprogrammable channel select function This allows up to eight different channel select patterns to be selected and stored using an eight position binary switch
This function can be controlled with a PLC.
The LCM-3 is ideal for applications where a variety of materials are inserted through the protected field of the light curtain, such as press operations and post-extrusion processing.
Features include two PNP solid state safety outputs; two auxiliary outputs; MPCE monitoring for control reliability; a two-digit numeric display for fault diagnostics; exact and programmable channel select; and one and two channel floating blanking.
The LCM-3 also offers automatic start, start/restart interlock, and start interlock selectable modes.
