Manual latch release keeps actuator with switch
Scientific Technologies has added a manual latch release mechanism to its T4011 heavy-duty safety interlock switch.
This feature is ideal for applications with vibrating guards or where other factors may cause unwanted removal of the actuator from the switch.
The position of the latch release button is easily changed in the field to either the front or top position of the switch.
The head can be rotated to provide eight possible actuator entry positions, allowing it to easily adapt to a variety of mounting situations.
The T4011's mounting pattern conforms to the globally recognised DIN standard.
The T4011 makes remote status indication easy to implement, as it is equipped with four sets of contacts.
Two sets of contacts allow dual channel safety monitoring, a third set of contacts provides for visual status, and a fourth set of contacts may be monitored with a PLC.
