Controller adds flexibility to safety system
The LCM series controller is designed for use with Scientific Technologies MC4700 and MS4700 series safety light curtains.
The CM-S4 control unit provides external device monitoring (also referred to as MPCE monitoring) and has an automatic reset button, which allows the control unit to replace a safety relay in most applications.
The control unit also features removable terminal blocks for simplified wiring and installation.
The control unit will monitor up to four CM switches to Category 3 in accordance with EN954-1.
The control unit allows mechanical switches and CM Series switches to be used together for applications requiring non-contact and mechanical safety interlock switches.
The CM Series switch and actuator comes in three shapes and sizes to accommodate a variety of application requirements.
