The explosion-proof PA4600-EP perimeter access guarding device provides a longer operating range (30m) and wider beam spacing than conventional safety light curtains.

The explosion-proof PA4600-EP perimeter access guarding device provides a longer operating range (30m) and wider beam spacing than conventional safety light curtains This makes it suitable for torso detection, and an excellent choice for safeguarding the perimeter of areas where hazardous or explosive materials are present

The unit is easy to install, and a front panel access to selector switches allows for easy configuration modification.

A selection of scan codes allow the installer to choose unique scan frequencies, thereby avoiding crosstalk with adjacent systems or other infra-red emitting devices.

The PA4600-EP also has 625mA solid-state safety outputs that provide a wide range of interfacing options with industry standard safety relays.

Other features include: response time as low as 16 ms; simple two-box design no separate control box required; no cable needed between transmitter and receiver; two PNP safety outputs designed to directly switch machine primary control elements; choice of three operating modes - automatic start, start interlock and start/restart interlock; and adjustable mounting brackets.
