The safety contact is co-extruded as an integral part of the profile, eliminating the need to 'fish' the safety contact into the profile, significantly reduced assembly time.
The unit may be combined with an EC-S4 control unit to guard applications with up to six doors while continuing to satisfy category 4 requirements according to EN954-1.
These units are CE marked, BG approved, and UL and C-UL listed.
A monitored feedback loop allows the unit to function as a safety monitoring relay, and 6A/24VDC switching capability allows connection directly to power contactors.
The EC Series provides a uniquely coded actuator with each switch to make it a highly tamper-resistant system ideal for use on sliding or swinging guard doors where high levels of vibration or misalignment up to 0.5in are expected.
They are approved for use in Class I, Div 2 gas and dust applications.
