Omron Scientific Technologies has released a new Guide to Devicenet Safety Systems that outlines the benefits of implementing a Devicenet safety network in a variety of applications.
The fully illustrated guide also details Omron's family of safety network controllers, safety I/O terminals, Ethernet/IP-Devicenet routers, accessories and network configuration software.
Product features, diagrams, specifications and ordering information are included.
Some of the benefits of implementing a Devicenet safety system that are featured in the guide include reducing total cost of ownership, low-cost system construction, enabling programmable safety configurations and distributed networks with reduced wiring, easy system modification and expandability and achieving high safety standards.
Additionally, safety circuits can be created or changed with software, and safety control is graphically represented at the control panel.
