Ultraflat load cell turns to silo applications
Load cell specialist Scaime has developed a new solution for tank, silo and bulk weighing.
This architecture allows the direct reading of each connected load cell, the digital equalisation or summation of the measurement channels.
It is also possible to connect up to eight load cells (350ohm) on one channel.
Integrated functions let the device cover applications such as tank weighing, level monitoring or filling control.
To ensure reliability and safety for controlled process, its specifications include 24bit analogue to digital conversion, measuring rate up to 200mea/s and 24 filtering levels.
Mounted on a Din rail, it is easy to install and has an LED display (six digits by 13mm) and a five-key keyboard.
It has one high accuracy analogue output (0-10V or 4-20mA), two logical inputs and two relay outputs, one RS232 for printer or repeater connection and one RS485 for networking or PLC connection (Modbus-rtu or Profibus-dp).
