The new LCV-USB interface from StrainSense is a high speed, high accuracy unit to allow for millivolt, volt and milliamp output transducers to be connected directly into a PC.

The new LCV-USB interface from StrainSense is a high speed, high accuracy unit to allow for millivolt, volt and milliamp output transducers to be connected directly into a PC.

No traditional instrumentation amplifier is required, simplifying and reducing costs for laboratory and industrial monitoring.

The transducer is powered via the USB connection.

Up to 200Hz can be continuously monitored.

Measurement rates of up to 5kHz can be achieved with cache memory in the LCV-USB.

Resolution up to 16bit is available.

Strain gauge bridges of 200ohms plus can be used.

Two packaging options are available: inline for attachment to the output cable and also in board form for integration into the transducer package.

Calibration for the PC can be from the transducer datasheet or by direct calibration.

The LCV-USB driver software is included with the interface.
