The RSE range of strain gauges is highly suited to the wind turbine industry being fully wired and encapsulated to ensure quick installation of a strain-measuring element perfect for these conditions.

The RSE range of strain gauges is highly suited to the wind turbine industry being fully wired and encapsulated to ensure quick installation of a strain-measuring element perfect for these conditions.
In addition, the gauges and cable terminations are fully encapsulated in a polyurethane resin to ensure complete moisture protection when correctly installed.
The encapsulation is very flexible allowing reliable mounting to flat and curved surfaces: perfect on wind turbines.
To complement these gauges, StrainSense offers a custom torque measurement system ideal for use by wind turbine manufacturers.
It provides accurate measurement of the shaft power, torque and rotary speed.
The system can be fitted in-situ and offers long-term reliability, in a maintenance free package.
