The Telegen is available in 12, 24 as well as the standard 48-volt version, and with internal and external acoustic canopy options.
The system has an ultra-pure output to meet all telecom specifications and is not prone to light loading problems, often associated with telecom installations.

A 3-phase, 6-diode rectifier bridge and an inductor/capacitor smoothing system converts the AC power to good quality DC power.
Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) is used to power the Telegen system.
Very clean burning, it is environmentally friendly and obviates fuel spillage.
If required, Scorpion can also produce units in other fuel options.
Very compact, both the 3.5kw and 5kw module Telegen generators measure just 70cmx70cmx70cm.
Service intervals of over 1,000 hours running times means that the Telegen requires four times less servicing than most diesel sets.
Totally adaptable, multiple Telegen units can be run in parallel giving unlimited capacity, stacked for space saving and can either be arranged for protection against mains failure or as prime power source where no mains electricity is available.
In the event of unit failure, it can be "hot swapped" to provide a very easy "swap-out" capability, without shutting down the system.
With leading telecom companies having already shown their confidence in the product by placing contracts in excess of ?1 million, the introduction of the Telegen by Scorpion Power Systems will prove a benchmark in the provision of automatic standby power for the telecom market.
