Utility survey shows Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories as the number-one manufacturer of relays in all eight categories polled.
The latest survey conducted by the Newton-Evans Research Company: "Worldwide study of the protective relay marketplace in electric utilities: 2006-2008, Volume 1: North American market", asked personnel at 112 utilities to measure relay manufacturers.
Utilities chose Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories as the number-one manufacturer in all eight categories: technology, price, features, security against hackers, technical service and support, web information, ease of use and maintenance cost.
Customers ranked SEL number one in combined customer experience by a large margin over its nearest competitor, showing SEL's dedication to quality, reliability and service.
"The Newton-Evans report reaffirms SEL's strong commitment to customer satisfaction", said SEL Senior Vice President Ron Schwartz.
"The results of this study show the approval of our customers in regards to both our products and services, and will demonstrate to potential customers our dedication to making electric power safer, more reliable, and more economical".
