The judges were also impressed with the SDS acoustic enclosures.
Sound Dead Steel significantly reduces the transmission of impact noise, with applications for almost any metal surface including panels, hoppers, chutes, rail, hi-fi, drilling platforms, ductwork, pumps, compressors - in fact any metal surface that receives or transmits vibrations can significantly benefit in noise reduction terms.
The managing director of Sound Dead Steel, Les Thompson, was delighted to receive the award and spoke of the great boost it would give to his company.
