Magnetic system determines absolute position
The MLA magnetic distance-measuring system provides absolute position feedback for a variety of industrial applications.
The updated Model DA09S indicator features: standard spindle pitches and ratios up to 100 counts per turn; easy installation by sliding over the spindle and securing a set screw; accuracy to 0.002mm or 0.0001in as a function of the application; support for shaft sizes up to 20mm; and a five-digit display with extra-large 7mm digits.
Available in distinctive orange (also black, grey or maroon), a shaft-mounted indicator converts rotation into a displayed value for absolute positioning.
Special pitches, axial seals, reducing sleeves, stainless shafts, solvent-resistant and waterproof units are available.
An additional shaft clamp plate is also available to lock the position securely.
