The Mechanical Engineering Department at Stanford University has choosen SolidProfessor's "Core Concepts" interactive learning suite for its SolidWorks training needs.
The Mechanical Engineering Department at Stanford University has choosen SolidProfessor's "Core Concepts" interactive learning suite for its SolidWorks training needs.
Each year, the best and brightest engineering students graduate from Stanford University.
Now, with the help of SolidProfessor's unique self-paced multimedia course "Core Concepts", these students will leave equipped with knowledge and experience using SolidWorks, billed as the number-one 3D mechanical design software for the mainstream market.
David Beach, of Stanford University's Mechanical Engineering Department says: "We have reviewed the available training suites and have found that SolidProfessor delivers the highest value to our students".
"Each student will have their own copy of SolidProfessor which will provide them with an outstanding resource in developing their engineering abilities".
Without SolidProfessor, Stanford considered adding additional staff to support the incoming class of over 150 students.
By providing each student with a copy of "Core Concepts", Stanford will not only aid student learning, but also control costs associated with the additional staff and time taken for handling support issues.
