Knowledge resource centre runs inside the SolidWorks interface to provide Design Solutions' customers with instant access to "on-demand" training and support content in both Dutch and French.

SolidProfessor and Design Solutions of the Benelux countries have partnered to deliver "on-demand" training and support services to Design Solutions' multilingual customers.

SolidProfessor has developed a customised knowledge resource centre that runs inside the SolidWorks interface to provide Design Solutions' customers with instant access to "on-demand" training and support content in both Dutch and French.

Customers can now instantly search and view multimedia lessons in their native language without ever leaving the SolidWorks design environment.

SolidProfessor President Dave Ptak comments: "We're very excited to be working with Arnaud Kooij and his team on this project".

"We're always looking for ways to help our VAR partners strengthen the relationship they have with their customers".

"Design Solutions has a unique need that requires a multi-language application to run inside SolidWorks".

"I'm glad our team was up for the challenge".

Design Solutions Director Arnaud Kooij adds: "We're firmly committed to providing our customers with the finest software and support resources available".

"Partnering with SolidProfessor allows us to deliver our training and support resources to our customers integrated into the SolidWorks task pane".

"The new Design Solutions resource centre is the best place to find the most up-to-date SolidWorks tech tips, news and support topics as well as a full library of SolidProfessor ongoing learning tools in both Dutch and French for maximum productivity".

In addition to the knowledge resource centre and with the release of SolidWorks 2009, Design Solutions' customers on subscription will have access to their choice of Dutch or French "update training".

Each year, SolidProfessor develops its update training course which covers all of the user driven enhancements available in the latest release of SolidWorks.

The 2009 version of SolidWorks is currently scheduled to be released in the third Quarter of 2008.

SolidProfessor now offers content in multiple languages including English, German, French, Dutch and Spanish for beginner through advanced users of SolidWorks.
