Brass insers bolster plastic joints
A new line of expansion inserts is available for strengthening plastic joints.
A new line of expansion inserts is available for strengthening plastic joints The new brass reverse expansion insert (Series 18) has a head and is intended to be used in applications where the bolt enters the insert from the headless end rather than from the headed end
Its head provides a high level of pull through resistance and its diamond knurl provides bidirectional torque resistance for bolt installation.
The reverse expansion insert, like Spirol's other expansion inserts, does not require any specialised insertion tools and intended to be cold pressed into the plastic hole.
With its reverse orientation and head, the Series 18 provides high levels of joint strength in an insert which can be installed by hand in a factory setting or in the field. Request a free brochure from Spirol Industries ...
