The use of tube or steel bar to produce spacers, distance pieces, ferrules or standoffs can be an unwanted added cost to an assembly or process.

The use of tube or steel bar to produce spacers, distance pieces, ferrules or standoffs can be an unwanted added cost to an assembly or process.

As an alternative, Spirol Industries now offers the only commercially available range of standard spacers which in most cases can be supplied at a lower price than it costs to buy the tube or steel bar before any additional work is applied.

Traditionally after receiving the tube, spacers have to be cut to length then deburred and in some cases plated.

As an alternative, spacers from Spirol Industries are supplied free from sharp edges and can also be provided plated.

Spirol spacers can also be used where tube is welded into position such as frames and chassis.

Standard spacers are available from 3 to 24mm internal diameter and lengths up to 150mm in steel, stainless steel and aluminium.

They are also available in two strengths for applications that require higher compressive load resistance.
