A new range of solid headed barbed pins are designed specifically for vehicle door handle assemblies.

Spirol Industries, the leading supplier of engineered fastener solutions, has introduced a new range of solid headed barbed pins which are designed specifically for vehicle door handle assemblies.

The HP 400 Series offers a number of advantages compared with other methods of fastening components within a door handle assembly.

The most important of these is a low in-place cost, providing savings to all companies involved in this type of assembly work.

Easy alignment of holes within an assembly is promoted by the HP 400 Series.

Once aligned, the pins can be inserted into the holes with a low insertion force, helping to minimise the risk of breakage during assembly.

In position, the pins provide a positive secure seating resulting in a consistent hinge action.

Three pin sizes are available in the HP range in different diameters and lengths from 18 to 75mm.

Manufactured from a choice of low carbon steels, high strength alloy steels and austenitic stainless steels, they can be finished plain, phosphate coated, electro zinc plated and passivated.

Spirol provides complementary automatic feeding machinery to offer even greater levels of productivity.

The company also offers an application design service to ensure each customer uses exactly the right pin for a specific handle assembly requirement.
