Compression limiters preserve joint integrity
Spirol compression limiters are used to preserve a threaded joint's integrity when fastening plastic-to-plastic assemblies or plastic-to-metal assemblies.
These products form part of the Spirol range following the acquisition of Bissell earlier in 2005.
The series includes standard ranges with pressed and machined edges, locking washers, ball bearing location discs and specials.
Design engineering applications are in the automotive, electrical, machine tool, building and materials handling industries.
They can be used for pre-loading of bearings, clutch spring pressure, shock absorption, safety clutches and static load carrying.
Disc springs have a high energy storage capacity, short axial length when installed and a high force that can be exerted with a short movement.
They can also be stacked in series or in parallel to suit compounded strength, force or other engineering design needs. Request a free brochure from Spirol Industries ...
