All disc springs manufactured by Spirol Industries are now being produced within a new manufacturing facility located in Halesowen in the West Midlands.
All disc springs manufactured by Spirol Industries are now being produced within a new manufacturing facility located in Halesowen in the West Midlands.
They are being produced to TS16949 and EN ISO9001 quality controls.
Disc springs are conical washers and are also known as Beville washers.
They have become part of the Spirol range since the acquisition of G E Bissell.
They are used to provide high levels of deflection resistance within a very small space.
They can be assembled into stacks to achieve load characteristics to meet the specific needs of any application.
Disc springs are produced in accordance with DIN 2093 which sets out the tolerances, size range and materials to be used.
Spirol disc springs are available in Groups 1 and 2 with material thicknesses up to 1.25 and 1.25-6.00mm.
They use standard materials CS75 and 51CrV4 as specified within the standard.
