Sensortechnics' new piezoresistive PCL sensors offer OEMs high-precision measurement from 5 to 75mbar FS.

Sensortechnics' new piezoresistive PCL sensors offer OEMs high-precision measurement from 5 to 75mbar FS.

TC offset errors, warm-up and long term stability, and position sensitivity are all significantly reduced when compared with conventional compensation methods.

In addition the sensor uses a silicon, micromachined, stress concentration enhanced structure to provide a very linear output to measured pressure.

The output of the device is ratiometric to the supply voltage and operation from any DC supply voltage of up to +16V is acceptable.

Important features of the new PCL sensors include: pressure ranges from 0-5 to 0-75mbar; precision temperature compensated and calibrated; very low warm-up and long term stability error; virtually no position sensitivity; and greatly improved linearity and temperature stability.

The precision temperature compensation and calibration makes Sensortechnics' PCL sensors ideally suited for demanding low-pressure measurement applications.

Packaging and electrical parameters are compatible with Sensortechnics PUL series.
