The new AWM90000 is ideal for a wide range of OEM mass flow sensor applications, thanks to its much improved price/performance ratio.

There are two AWM90000 mass flow sensor available: The +/-200cm3/min version has an extremely low pressure drop of only 0.49mbar, whereas the +/-5mbar version offers low differential pressure measurement capabilities.

The very low power consumption of both versions makes the sensor eligible for battery-powered applications.

Demanding measurements can take advantage of extremely low hysteresis and repeatability error, and highly stable null and full-scale outputs.

Both its low price and the small package size allow OEMs to incorporate a mass flow sensors for the first time into their application.

The AWM90000 sensors are well suited for medical applications like CPAP equipment, sleep apnea monitors, oxygen conservers and concentrators, respirators, ventilators, spirometers and anaesthesia delivery.

Industrial applications include filter control systems, fuel to air ratio sensing and spectroscopy equipment.

Other important features of the new mass flow sensors AWM9000 include: typical response time of only 1ms; low maximum power consumption of 50mW; a very compact package design (only 30 x 28 x 13mm); and hysteresis and repeatability error less than 0.35% of reading.

The new AWM90000 flow sensor from Sensortechnics offers a great new range of applications for mass flow sensors.
