White light technology makes better
colour sensor
The new F50 colour sensor from Sensopart operates with a white LED and has a unique scanning function that allows a whole range of colours to be scanned
The new F50 colour sensor operates with a white LED and a unique optical system patented by Sensopart The sensor has 3 teach-in PNP outputs, tolerance setting and a unique scanning function that allows a whole range of colours to be scanned, the colour tolerances and variations are then automatically stored in the memory

Sensors converted into counters, timers....
Sensopart have now increased the range of their successful Smart Plug program.
Additionally the sensor can be reconfigured for remote teach and timer delay output.
The F50 colour sensor also has a large operation distance for a colour sensor.
Colours can be accurately detected within the range of 12 to 32mm.
The sensor has an exceptionally large tolerence to moving or unsteady targets +/- 6mm.
A locking function enables the locking of the sensor's setting keys, thus protecting the sensor from unintentional mis-adjustment.
The FT 50C is sealed to IP67 and has a switching frequency of 500Hz.
Tight electronic and optical packaging means the sensor has all amplifiers "on board" and the dimensions 50mm x 50mm x 17mm.
The sensor is fitted with a rotating 270 degree 8 pin M12 connector.
The new F50 colour sensor has the remarkably low price of £230 and is available from September 2000.
