Seminar covers Sercos developments

Free one-day seminars on the latest advances for the Sercos interface for motion, safety and I/O have been scheduled for 14 September in the Minneapolis area and on 16 September in Atlanta.

Each seminar will be a half-day general introduction to Sercos and a half-day in-depth technical discussion on how to develop and implement Sercos.

Attendees will learn about the features and functions of real-time Ethernet Sercos III and how Sercos III compares to other real-time Ethernet solutions.

Topics will include the advanced I/O features of Sercos, controller-to-controller and direct slave-to-slave communications and Sercos automation solutions.

The latest features such as the encoder profile and open-source master software driver library will be presented and manufacturers will display their latest Sercos products.
