Severn Glocon, the control valve company, has won the contract to supply more than 400 valves for two new gas processing plants in the Middle East.

Severn Glocon, the UK's leading control valve technology company, has won a contract to supply more than 400 valves for two new gas processing plants in the Middle East.

The multi-million pound order, one of the largest in the company's history, involves ball, butterfly and globe control valves for plants being built for the Qatar Gas Petroleum Company by Korean main contractor Hyundai Engineering and Construction.

A significant factor in the award of the contract is Severn Glocon's proven technical ability with severe service valves.

The company is a market leading exponent of multi-labyrinth trim solutions for valves designed for critical and arduous applications, supported by the experience of lifetime support and valve management contracts for major organisations in the offshore oil and associated industries.
